Ultimate Reset - Day 9 - Keep on Keepin On!

Day 9! I can’t believe I’ve gotten here but I’m definitely not turning back! I’ve even gotten so much motivation from people I work with as well as friends and family who thought I was nuts when I started.  Down 8 lbs, feeling awesome, cravings, buh byeJ

Lets set the stage – Im a 5-6 Diet Coke a week drinker, 1-2 servings of hot tea, minimal water.  I know, being that Im so excited and motivated about health and fitness, I should know better! Shame on me! However, Im not perfect.  I’m learning each day things that I can do to improve myself, my life and to be better. Step 1) Hydrate.  I’m one of the people that have been stuck in a dehydrated state.  I’ve read some figure that its about 75% of Americans that are, some other thing saying that’s an over exaggeration – I’ll tell you this: I’ve not felt this great in years and I know its because of my water intake. I feel “cleaner” inside and I don’t feel ike I need to grab a soda because I’m thirsty. I feel satisfied. Not so full I can’t breathe, not gross, not swimming in too much water, simply and easily satisfied. Thank you H2oJ

Not working out – its been hard. But I do think my body is appreciating the rest. I think I needed it. Being so high energy all of the time has really, I’m sure, done a number on my body and I needed a break.  I hope to make sure that I am better about listening to my body because this exactly what it needed and I ignored this for years.

Finally, detox.  This is week 2. Im detoxing and everyone’s always afraid of being a bathroom runner lol.  No no, that’s not the case. Its very gradual, lets say and I don’t feel like I’m not in control.  The word detox is misleading to some. You are removing toxins – it can happen gradually which is what appears to be the case for most people. So I give this week, a thumbs up!

Any questions, concerns, support? I welcome it!! - Jess
